First local Cycling Tours operator In Chiang Mai, since 1995
In 1995 we launched our first mountain-biking trips through Northern Thailand.
This was the beginning of the “NorthernTrails® Adventures”. Today, we remain the
leading organizers of quality cycling tours in Northern Thailand.

Unique tour programs
Exclusive tours in the Doi Chiang Dao valley based at the Padeng Lodge & Camp’ a
place dedicated to mountain-bikers. The Padeng Lodge is located in the foot hills
of Doi Chiang Dao and surrounded by a multitude of great trails, mostly leading
to hill tribe villages. Travel in comfortable air-conditioned van to the Lodge,
departure points of many adventure tours in the Chiang Dao valley. Other places
we take our guests include the Mae Sa valley, along the Ping river, and in the Mae Ngat valley.

Professional organization
Northern Trails organize professional cycling tours, off-road mountain-biking,
scenic rides, as well as kayaking trips, river rafting, hiking trips and jungle treks, all
at affordable prices. We offer a wide range of trips with a personal touch which
guarantee you an unforgettable experience.

From leisure cycling to challenging rides
Among our many trips, we can offer everything from relaxing rides through rice
paddies and scenic Thailand countryside, to untamed and challenging rides through
thick jungle and high mountains. We strive to take our guests off the general
tourist track to amazing places that other companies and package tours rarely

On all our cycling tours, we provide:
- Quality TREK® brand mountain-bikes, well maintained by our own in-house mechanics
- Cycling helmets (compulsory on all our cycling tours), bottled drinking water and snacks, throughout the ride
- Knowledgeable and experienced local guides. All our guides are CPR and first aid certified, and carry comprehensive first aid kit.
- Support vehicle on most tours (except off road and flat valley rides)
- Transportation from your hotel and back, to the tour area.

All our trips are also carefully chosen according to the season, and most trips are operated all year long.

If you are already in Chiang Mai, please stop by our booking office inside the CITY CAFE, at 7/4 Ratvithi road, in the old district of Chiang Mai city. Our tour expert will be able to give you all recommendations needed and book any tours.
