How do I make a reservation with NorthernTrails.com?

After going through our website please fill out our booking form so we know more details about your needs, and will be able to provide you with accurate answers.

What happens after I submit the booking form?

Following the booking request, Contact Travel will state tour availability or send another proposal. If the tour is confirmed on our side, we send you the trip registration, together with tour details and deposit and payment instructions.

Contact Travel, the operator of NorthernTrails.com, will be your booking agent for all tours. Contact Travel is fully bonded and licensed with the Tourism Authority of Thailand as an Inbound-Outbound Tour Operator, License 21/0107.

When will we receive an answer to our inquiry or booking request?

Usually within 24 hours, our Contact Travel online reservation staff will answer personally by e-mail.

Are all your reservation systems online and computerized?

No, although we try to facilitate the reservation procedure using the Internet, Contact Travel is not a virtual booking office, but a full service travel agency with an office in town. Our online department has office staff, who will communicate with you by e-mail. In this way we offer a personalized service through the Internet.

When should I send the booking deposit?

Following confirmation of tour availability, and once you agree with the services and prices, you should make a deposit as soon as possible. This will guarantee no price change, and assure tour departure as agreed. Participation in a tour will be confirmed to participants only after reception of the deposit.

The deposit must be received by Contact Travel at least 15 days before the tour or services begin. Deposit is not refundable, as it will cover our booking fees and expenses.

Deposit / payment

For all services where clients are not coming to Chiang Mai and for all hotel reservation, we require full payment in advance. Payment can be made by bank transfer or charged to a credit card. For your convenience we welcome American Express, Visa & MasterCard. Payment instructions and details will be sent with our tour registration.

What if we need to cancel our tour or reservation?

In case of cancellation by the client(s), Contact Travel will retain full deposit amount as per our General Conditions. On Contact Travel's side, once we have received a deposit there is little reason that we should cancel a tour; however Contact Travel reserves the right to cancel any trip at any time, in such case all payments/deposit already made will constitute full settlement with the participants.

Participant Agreement

Participation in our programs implies the client's agreement to the above conditions and the paid deposit stands for proof of acceptance of our general conditions.
